A grown-up, customizable take on the classic lunchable, featuring quality salami, sharp cheddar, and buttery crackers. Ready in 5 minutes, perfect for busy weekdays.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 oz salami (Genoa or Soppressata)
  • 4 oz sharp cheddar cheese
  • 20 buttery crackers (e.g., Ritz or Club crackers)
  • Optional: almonds, baby carrots, celery sticks, grape tomatoes, marinated olives
  • Optional: dark chocolate chips, dried apricots

Instructions

  1. Cut the cheddar cheese into 1/2-inch cubes. If the cheese is soft, freeze for 5 minutes first for cleaner cuts.
  2. If using a whole salami stick, slice into thin rounds. If using pre-sliced, separate the slices.
  3. Count out about 20 crackers per serving.
  4. In a divided container, place crackers in one section, cheese cubes in another, and salami slices in a third.
  5. Fill remaining compartments with optional add-ins like almonds, carrots, or tomatoes.
  6. Add a sweet treat (e.g., dark chocolate chips) in a small corner or separate mini container.
  7. Seal the container tightly and refrigerate until ready to eat. Keeps for up to 4 days.

Notes

Do not pre-assemble crackers with cheese or salami to avoid sogginess. Let cheese sit at room temperature for 10 minutes before cutting for neater cubes. For best flavor, remove from fridge 10 minutes before eating.
